Help finding blues bass lines

Sign in to disble this ad
I have searched and searched for this but have not been able to find it. A couple of weeks ago maybe longer I came across a page of bass lines called 519*** bass lines it was some thing like 40 bars in standard notation of walking bass lines I think it was in the key of F. The premise was that by mixing different bars together there was some thing like five hundred thousand plus 12 bar bass lines. When I first saw it I remember thinking I should check it out I can probably learn something from it. Well I did not print it out or save it to favorites and now i cannot find it. Does anybody remember this and if so could you point me to it?

Hey Scotty,
I haven't seen that but I highly recommend "Walkin" by Bruce Gertz.

It's full of tons of finely crafted basslines over blues, rhythm changes, and standards. They are great lines to get under your fingers and can be used as a nice jumping off point, although nothing beats transcription.
