Help Me Learn This Part?

I have some tabs, but they don't appear to be correct:

Here's how it sounds in the song:

Can anyone help me figure out how to play this?

What cleff and key is that song in? I don't see the all important part of the music there.

Guess I could click the sound file too..... Have you tried just playing what notes are there? I didn't play it on my bass but that might be right. Ignore the tab and play the notes.

The music I posted is bass clef. No key signature.

Bass clef, 4/4 in E minor. I can't really hear it clearly in the song but I think it's correct. Not sure about the first couple of notes but it's basically laying it down in E pentatonic. I doubt someone would notice if you didn't play it 100% like on the record.

The fingering in the tabs just seems off. Finger plucking on the A string and then slapping on the G string?

So is this thought justified? Do these look as odd to you as they do to me? (Finger plucking on the A string and then slapping on the G string?) Or do these seem pretty standard?

The notes are all correct. Except all the Ps and Ss are mixed up. Just reverse them.

I'm pretty sure the P stands for "pop", not pluck.

So where it says P, slap it, and where it says S, pop it.

The "S" is for slide, not slap.

The "P" is for pull-off, not pop or pluck.

In this program, the S does in fact mean slap.

A slide is represented by a slash between notes.

In that case, yeah I think the S & P are reversed.

Ignore the tab part and learn the notes.

Doesn't really make a difference to me, the tabs just make it easier. I can read the notes fine.
