I cant hear the bass too well in this video but when I do hear it, its awesome. Bootsy pounds this song into a funk paste. Anyone have any suggestions on what Bootsy's doing? I was hoping to find a video of someone covering this version of Sonny on bass.

hes not doing anything that unique.. just grooving on root/5/8 of each chord with a lot of feel...

but on another note, that was one of the rudest trombone solos i've heard in a long time..
