Any exercises?
How much time of your practice routine do you dedicate to practise dynamics?
Victor Wooten says it is the key for being a oustanding bassist
I search the forum and nobody told practise tips for this

Thanks

On your own - try taking the same exercise and playing it loud and soft.
Then play one bar loud, one bar soft.
go from your loudest to softest and back bar by bar.
You can do similar things with articulation - play one bar staccato, one bar legato.

In band situations - see if you can drive the dynamics. Play softly enough to bring others down in volume and intensity, and let the song breathe. Bring up your volume and intensity as a soloist brings up their solo.
Play with it.

It's also a great way to build up your plucking strength/stamina.

Generally, I practice in this fashion with index & middle, thumb, thumb and index, and occasionally with a pick.

When I practice for other things, I generally play as hard as I can accurately play to strengthen my plucking hand.
When it comes to speed practice, I play as lightly as I can and then move up to plucking a bit harder and gradually make my way up to plucking as hard as I can.

Now I am practising the scales over all the bass playing one noteloud one note soft..
and and exercise of arpegios the same way...find it difficult so I am playing at 50 bpm 8 notes. I can play 16 notes at 120 without paying attention to dynmamics, but thisis more difficult.... Do you find the same?

It's going to be difficult at first, but the more that you practice, the better you're going to get. Live, I hardly ever need to use a boost pedal. I set my amp to be as loud as I need when playing softly, and alter my dynamics as the volume increases.
