Just curious as to how long you practice.
I try to aim for 3 hours a day.

I've got ADHD, and as a rule anything longer than, say, 15 minutes and I start to lose interest. So I try to keep it short and sweet!

I really don't "practice" bass anymore in the sense of drills & exercises (in that sense, I practice guitar a lot more than bass). I play bass when I'm working on something of my own or trying to get someone else's line down, or when I'm at band practice, probably 10-12 hours per week. |

Well, at least you fellow TBers could tell. I was at an open mic last week where one lady in the coffee shop told me she thought I had been playing all my life. It's only been a bit over two years.

and then I generaly play electric all the time. I have one in every room of the house, so when ever I am sitting down I pick it up.

Right now I'm at the tail end of crunch time with a new band so in the past two months I've easily logged an average of 20 hours a week. I wish I could be that motivated when it comes to my lessons though...I'd be much better. |

| | | I have to say 2-3 hours, because that includes 1-2 hours. I alternate between practicing guitar and bass. I may go for a few nights for a few hours doing either one or both. I mix it up. And on weekends that I have all the time in the world, all bets are off and I'll go all afternoon and evening mixing it up.
