Hey everyone, I find myself going into fazes of different genres of music. One week would be Bossa Nova, then the next would be jazz. Currently I'm in R&B. I was hoping we could make a sticky-worthy thread to list all the thread links (and external websites) that be describe how to play a certain type of music, much like the stickied "Music Theory/General Instruction thread". If we get alot of contributions, I'll periodically, edit this post and add them. Also, what are some good books that go into good detail on how to play different styles. I believe I saw one at Barnes & Noble, but I cant remember the name or anything.
I'll start on some
Rock A little help with Rock Bass R&B (need help with this since I can't search "R&B" on the forums)
Blues Jazz Bass Line Construction: Target Approach Reggae http://www.how-to-play-reggae.com/3-...ss-Scales.html Reggae and Dub Primer Reggae Funk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IHE6hZU72A4 Latin I need help with Bossa Nova What to play over a bossa-nova / latin type beat? http://www.shermusic.com/latinbassbook.htm

Now lets make this one hell of a thread!
Of course, other genres are welcome
