hey Jeff,

How are you? I recently read that you don't like to use metronomes or tunes. Why is that? How can you learn to keep solid time without a metronome/drum machine if you don't have a drummer to play with? I'd like to hear what you've got to say on these subjects.

Oh, I didn't know that Jeff had threads. I thought I was asking general purpose questions that might interest a variety of bass players. I'm sorry if I didn't post it in the correct section.
