I need advice for this.

Hi everybody,

So my band is thinking about playing "Highway star" by Deep Purple. I play mainly with my fingers, and in the beginning of the song, he's playing pretty fast triplets. I attempt to use 3 fingers on doing the triplets, but it mutes two of the notes, and lets the 3rd one ring out.

Does anyone have any Idea on how I could play those triplets without using a pick?

Try doing them with your first and second finger instead of 3 fingers. Either that, or slow down and refine your technique doing the trips with the 3 fingers, then gradually get faster.
