iDrum Help?? Multiple Measures

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi. I just got Bass Grooves by Ed Friedland, and am starting to work with iDrum as a software plugin drum machine. (This fits me very well as I practice via my MacBook Pro; my rig is not at my house.) Trouble is a lot of the drum machine setup requires 2-4 measures and as far as I can tell iDrum really only gives you one measure to work with. But surely that can't be right? How do you operate on more than one measure? I tried cutting the tempo in half and working on 32nd notes (instead of full tempo and 16ths) but a lot of the tempos that would result in are lower than iDrum is willing to accept.

Anyone?

Normally there is a loop button to activate. Look around for that.

No, you can do as many measures as you want.

The "Pattern" thing is what you want. Make a measure, then increment the "Pattern" button and make another one. Then you string them together with a "song".

So each pattern = a measure, then I click song mode? I think I get it.

Thanks!!!!

EDIT: Okay, figured it out, here's how to do it in the newest version for those who aren't sure. You edit the patterns individually then open the Song Editor and assign the order and repetition of the patterns.
