Interval training for RUSH fans!

I've been working on my fretless play for the past 3 months or so, and something that has been helpful for me, is improving my ear. I'm working on intervals now, and I find that getting started identifying them is made much easier by relating them to intervals in famous tunes. This is nothing new, but most of the famous songs I hear identified...suck (Star Wars, Over the Rainbow, etc.).

I'm a huge Rush fan. As I sit here tapping on my Mac at Sky Harbor, I'm on my way to Madison Square Garden for Sunday night's Time Machine Tour. It got me thinkin'... What are some familiar intervals in Rush tunes that can be referenced (ascending and descending), so I don't have to use the corny show tunes.

So far, just sitting here, I have:

Up:
m2 -
M2 -
m3 -
M3 - Limelight (intro riff)
P4 - Temples of Syrinx (intro riff)
dim5/aug4 -
P5 -
m6 -
M6 -
m7 -
M7 -
octave - Circumstances (riff before chorus), Tom Sawyer (intro riff)

Down:
m2 -
M2 -
m3 - Tom Sawyer (bass solo)
M3 -
P4 -
dim5/aug4 - YYZ
P5 -
m6 -
M6 -
m7 -
M7 -
octave -

They're getting ready to board now, so I'll add some more between flights in Denver!

Not a Rush fan myself, but that's a good and useful thing you're doing. (I'm more old-style, like how the Star Spangled Banner goes 531358).

Its been a while... but isn't Tom Sawyer a m3 Up too during the main bass groove. I assume you have the m3 Down for the breakdown towards the end. Also the hits at the beginning are P8/octaves?

I'm not really a rush fan, but all that jumped out at me as distinct parts.
