| I never rest my jammed fingers, or any sprain for that matter. The best way, I find, to get through these things is to continue doing things as normal. Obviously with a sprained ankle you can't walk as well, but healing is partly mental, if you can treat yourself like theres nothing wrong, you will heal faster. A jammed finger will definitely be tough to play with, but I'd do it anyway, work through it, its therapeutic.
