Joint Supplements?

I was just curious if any of you take or recommend any kind of Joint Supplements that you feel helps your fingers(for both your left and right hand(Picking and fretting)).

Now that I am in my mid 40’s, I have noticed I have more aches and pains in my joints (Mainly my knees and ankles)

My fingers don’t currently give me any issues to speak of but figured a side benefit of taking a joint supplement would be that it would help my finger joints as a age..

If you are starting to have aches and pains, it doesn't hurt to talk with a doctor about it first. IMO (and I am not a medical professional), you are a little young to have joint pain.

Once you've seen the doc a decent "one size fits all" supplement is Glucosamine and Chondroitin like this one:

I have used several with Glucosamine and Chondroitin. They seem to work well over time. But that's the thing. According to everyone I spoke with before starting, you have to take them for several weeks to really get the full effects of the supplement. And they were right. You can't just pop a coupe when you feel achy. You pretty much add it as a daily supplement. When I slack off and forget to take it for a while, I do notice more stiffness, but I always get back on track before it turns to pain.
