I was wondering if theres any sort of practice I should do? Any specific theory practice, technqiue, songs, etc that would help?

the only warm up or practice thing that i changed really was just getting comfortable with having a 2 octave scale all within reach...you can play one scale then with the easy shift of just one fret, you have the octave of the same scale, so that is a bit different.

also, get familiar with where the notes are on the new b string, as it means you will have to think and move less when improvising and jamming. if your playing a solo in the high register, in the key of A, you no longer have to work all the way back down to fret five, now theres the same pitch A at fret 10
