Lead sheet music for Autumn Leaves

I have the lead sheet music to Autumn Leaves from the bass clef Real Book 6th edition. To get my timing down I really need a lead sheet with the lyrics shown under the melody notes.

I'm having trouble with the melody notes and lyrics matching up on the following:

Quote:
Bar 9 - 13
I see your lips, the summer kisses

The sun-burned hands I used to hold.
Can not find a lead sheet with English lyrics.

Anyone know where I can get both melody notes and lyrics (in English) together, do not mind purchasing the sheet music, just have not been able to find any.

Appreciate the help,

Have you tried MusicNotes?

1 or 2 more measures on the Nat King Cole version (1st one on list) & you'd have your answer for free. You can transpose into the key you need. The Eva Cassidy version (3rd down) also has lyrics. If you can speak French, the Joseph Kosma (4th down) would come in handy!

I'd think for a standard such as Autumn Leaves, the answer to your question has to be on the web for free somewhere, though.

Thanks, that is a great site. Google did not take me there, for some reason. Have it bookmarked.

Thanks again.

It's in "The New Real Book" with the lyrics. Treble clef, though, and a different key from what you've been shedding.

In the "New Real Book" do most of the standards have lyrics? If so I need to get a copy.

What edition is this one?

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure only the "Real Vocal Book" has lyrics. The other real book only have the melody line.
