Learn the fretboard

Found this interesting game on Internet. A game that helps yuo memorize the fretboard while you are having fun.

It's only for guitar right now. But I think it can be useful anyway. I am waiting for a bass version.

It may not be fun, but there is already a version for bass over on basstabs.net right here:

Geoff,

That link is great. I've got the fretboard nailed, but am getting ready to work on learning to sight read. Nice! Thanks!

Good stuff. Anyone see a 5 or 6 string trainer around ?

It would be cool to combine the two, perhaps read the note off the staff and click it on the fretboard.

Aloha,

Jonathan

hmm
dont think its worth me buying (translation: i dont have a credit card to pay for it)

i shall set to work making my own...
i know enough basic computer programming stuff that i may be able to pull it off...

in fact i think i shall do it now...
will make a program for learning notes on the fretboard to bass clef and i will post it for all of you to use. AND IT WILL BE FREE! AHAHAHA

but you will all be eternally indebted to me... bwah hahahaha

sorry...
ill go sedate myself.

no seriously if i can get something to work by making my own i will most definitly post it in a forum for everyone to download.

By the time you copy a good idea, I will learn the fretboard and respect the author.

Why would I want to pay $15.00 for something on the computer that I've got to be at my computer to use, when I could be spending that time playing the notes and learning the bass clef on my axe? Wait, then I could do it at work. Allright!!!!
