I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to put this. Does anyone know a good site to learn how to play bass from? I'm just starting to learn and I only know how to do one thing on the bass. Forgot what it was called though.

You might want to look here, in the General Instruction forum.

Google is your friend.....type in bass lessons and see......

You may want to consider finding an instructor as well.

Is a great place to start, it has a lot of good articles and examples that will teach you what bass is all about and how to jump in and play.

When you have exhausted that I recommend drilling the major and minor scales, the blues scale and the major/minor pentatonic scales and then Major and minor chords (including 6, 7, and 9 chords).

Also be sure to start jamming with drum machine, and playing with people as soon as you can!

You might also want to check out http://workshoplive.com
or http://musicdojo.com
a lot of people here recommend them for cheap online lessons.
