Left or right hand dilemma

I have just a little bit of experience with guitars kind of off and on over the years. Its all been right handed. I can play alright like that. I am about 99% ambidextrous. Slightly left handed. If there is any chance that playing with the right hand might limit my ability I will go with left.
The only reason I might stick to the right handed playing is because I am finding very little variety in left handed bass guitars, like most things lol. I am seriously looking at the left handed Ibanez six string for my budget. I live in Canada as well and a lot of the lefty basses dont seem to sell out here... Or at least I cant find any.
The only reason I would choose left is because it feels... Just slightly more natural too me... Slightly. That and I just have to be different lol.
I have always had trouble with string instruments because I just cant seem to get the feel for the strings but im wondering if this could be a left brain right brain thing ?

Thanks!

Which of you hands feels more naturally rhythmic/is more coordinated? If it's one or the other, then that's the hand you should use to pluck/pick. All things being equal, it certainly is easier to find a wide selection of righties.

Interesting. That makes sense too me. My left hand is slightly smoother but so slightly I can hardly tell. With that little difference will it have a noticeable effect on playing in the long run ?

Here's my 2 cents. I'd go right handed as finding an instrument would be easier. I understand the argument that whatever feels natural is what you should go for but from a physical/learning standpoint every time I learn a new song, riff, lick etc. it feels unnatural like I'm playing left handed even though I'm right. Also if you have better dexterity with your left hand it may come in handy. I read an interview with Keith Horne where he talked about being right handed and playing left and how he found having better dexterity in his right hand being a great help.

Here are a few of videos of left handed players who play right:
