Help!
Ok, it's not too bad, but I've got a jam (more of an audition...) with one of ReverbNation's top 5 Jazz artists (national) on Monday and he wants to play Lester Left Town. I only mention the ReverbNation thing cause it's a little intimidating...
It's a Wayne Shorter tune with lots of "Shorterisms", which simply means that it's basic form makes a lot of sense in the context of the whole tune, but the harmonies are pretty "out". Not your typical "real book jam" material, by any means.
Anyway, any tips/advice from those who've worked through it would be much appreciated.
