Looking for advanced bass teacher......Las Vegas

Sign in to disble this ad
I am relocating to Vegas this summer....I am looking at hooking up with the right advanced teacher for private instruction. I am not sure where we will be living. However, I am willing to commute to either side of town for the right instructor. Please PM your rate, references, audio clips, syllabus, website link, availability, schedule, etc, or anything you would like to send me. We can take it from there. Thanks!!!!

dude, you should easily find a teacher there. call unlv's music department. talk to some of the players in relief bands at some of the bigger shows. they're often the best guys in town to take lessons from because they can read flyspecks and they've mostly learned in a formal setting.

Jimmy....great idea about UNLV. To tell you the truth, I never thought about UNLV. I tell you, one of the most exciting things about moving to Las Vegas is the prospect of getting to study under some "real" heavy hitters. In my current home town of Rockford, IL there is NOBODY worth two licks to take lessons from. If I want quality, I would need to drive 1.5 hours to Chicago. I tried that route a couple of times....too much of a hassle.
