Looking for a GOOD bass techer in NYC

I'm looking for a good bass teacher in nyc. I'm not a very technical most of my playing comes from instinct and ear. Not really looking to read music but looking just to become a more solid versitile bass player. I play in hard rock bands. I know basic stuff like major scales and stuff but most of the time I just wing it on what sounds good. I want to learn how to "own the groove" and just come up with bass lines that aren't too flashy but at the same time are good solid bass lines with nice walks etc.... Any recomendations for a good teacher in NYC?
