looking for teacher in Central New Jersey

I'm sorry if I'm not supposed to post this, but I did a search through profiles and didn't see anything that really grabbed me. I've been playing bass for about 8 years. I started on guitar and took lessons in the beginning on both guitar and bass. I haven't played "religiously" all 8 years, but I'm now in two bands, so I play a lot. I'm just looking to get faster and be able to write more creative bass lines. Also, I would like to be able to look into the possibility of becoming a studio musician at some point, even if I can't make a living off of it. I just want to play with all kinds of musicians. I play progressive rock primarily, but I want to learn every style. I live in Highland Park, NJ, but I'm not against traveling a little ways. I appreciate any help. Thanks for reading.

Again I would check with you local music store as they will know of teachers in the area looking for students. That is where I would start, if I was you.

Highland Park is near New Brunswick & Edison... I'd call www.newjerseyguitarandbasscenter.com

it's about the only shop with quality gear in NJ... they should have a teacher for you.
