Looking for teacher in Louisana

Currently residing in Slidell, Lousiana. I'm willing to travel if I need to. I've been playing for about 3 months on my own. I play the whole nine yards. Funk, Jazz, Ska, etc. And of course my own music. I really would like to learn the Bass Cleft and some music theory. I just don't know where to start and am a bit overwhelmed by the idea.

I have been playing and reading charts for over 35 years, and am currently the bass player in the New Orleans Shrine Jazz Band.
