Looking for teacher in Southern California

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm looking for an instructor in the OC (Fullerton) area to help me further my playing as a bassist to: 1. further establish the groove. 2. expand my knowledge on harmony, melody, etc. 3. help me with left and right hand techniques such as mutings, slapping, ghost notes, etc.

As a reference point, some players I aspire to be like are Andrew Gouche, Justin Raines, Norm Stockton, Marcul Miller, Jenek Gwizdala, Sharay Reed, etc. My preferred genres are: jazz, gospel, R&B, rock, funk, etc.

I'm looking for a teacher with low or moderate rates (im a college student) who's looking for a student hungry to learn and to invest in rather than being invested in by the student.

If you or someone you know may be interested, please drop a PM in my inbox and I'll get back to you.

I could care less about degrees but I need to know the potential instructor can play. video clips would be vital in the decision making process.

God bless
