This may have been around before, but it's worth passing around again.

MarloweDK has some awsome instructional Bass videos both on his site: http://playbassnow.com/bass-lessons/ and his YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/MarloweDK

Really dig his tone. Read a touch on his page, a lot of the same advice that gets posted here. Hope people will see the common thread of answers all over and realize it's experience trying to pass on the knowledge.

Talk about weird, I just got done watching his video on YouTube of "Mista Cool" by the Brothers Johnson, then I came right over to Talkbass, and here was this thread...

That is pretty weird. I saw some of the videos on YouTube of him just jamming and thought it sounded pretty cool. When I found the lessons on his website, I thought it was worth passing along.

He does a better job than most with those web cam bass lessons. He explains what he's doing slowly and thoroughly in just a few minutes.

I'd buy an instructional DVD of him if made one.

He should be back to posting daily videos soon, he was taking a short break. He's now also got some forums going, just starting out, so any marlowe fanatics come & join in, help the place grow...

I've been watching this by him all day:
