What IS a major scale? (Hint- you gotta know the arrangement of whole steps and half steps that make a major scale). Then it's REAL easy- Start at F natural, and apply the whole-step/half-step forumula, and make sure you use each letter name only one time. That tells you that you need a half-step after A, and because you've arleady used the letter A, you gotta call it Bb.
"But keep in mind that's it's simpler than it looks." Yeah, it is. But you gotta start at the beginning, and not jump around too much.
