I'm trying to figure out if there are any good sources of transcriptions for modern Jazz and Fusion bass.

I'm aware of the Wooten and Miller Anthologies that are in many music stores. You can get a lot of stuff on older folks like Jaco and Mingus, but its hard to get anything on newer bass players.

Some people offer to do single item transcriptions and usually charge a lot per project.

I figure if I were a student at Berklee then I would be expected to transcribe all this stuff, but I'm not.

Are there books or notes available for the amateur bass player? (Names that come to mind... Bona, Haslip, Spalding, Tony Grey, Wilkenfeld etc... )
