Music Dojo Down?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi, just wondering if anyone else is enrolled in Music Dojo (www.musicdojo.com) classes right now. The site's been down for me for the past three days. Is anyone else experiencing the same issues, or heard anything about what's going on?

hey chobbes-

just found your post and wanted to update you. first of all, i apologize for the inconvenience. the site has, indeed been down for a few days. basically what happened was that we had a major problem occur with our server that slowed it down to a crawl intermittently. we had to keep resetting it when this would happen, which was obviously not a good situation. in an effort to rectify the problem for good, our web host provider had to copy our entire site to a new location and ISP, and now we are waiting for the DNS servers, etc., to update. i was told that we would be back up and running by today, but apparently they are still sorting things out. once again, i am very sorry for the inconvenience. we should have things fixed very soon.

Hey Adam! Thanks for the update. It's been tough without having new lessons every day, but that's only because each one is so great. I know the wait'll be worth it once the site's back up. Thanks for providing such a great resource for bassists, and for your great instruction in Tapping 1 last month.

The site is back up and running. Please let me know if you encounter any other problems. We will be offering everyone some extended time in their classes to make up for the dropout... Thanks again for your patience!

Just wanted to say - MusicDojo is hands down the best value in bass instruction ever. Do it. Everyone.

Adam, I read in an interview that you gave a number of years ago where it was mentioned that you were going to release an instructional DVD. Is that true and if so, when will you release it?

bottomzone-

you are correct; i will be releasing an entire dvd series, but you've probably already figured out i'm running a little behind...

the timing of your question is intuitive, however... we are currently in pre-production right now for the 1st in the series on technical mastery... i am, as we speak, rehearsing going through the outlines in draft video form, just trying to hone the material and insure its continuity. thanks for your interest!!! i hope you will enjoy them... i'll post excerpts on youtube when we're ready for the 1st release, but that is still probably a few months away. having said that, now that my new cd is finished and available the first order of business from here on out is getting the first dvd out the door.

AWESOME!!!!!!! I'm looking forward to the clips and the release!!!

Switching reels, can you offer some insight on why you switched from Roscoe basses (killer tone on "Kung Fu" from the Adam Nitti & Liquid Blue CD) to Curbow (one of the best bass tones I have ever heard) to Warrior (another great sounding bass) ?

Thank you so much for joining this forum, Adam-we are very blessed to have you aboard!!!

it was the series of endorsement relationships that i had over the years that helped to influence what my main instruments were during each respective 'season'. i am actually now a 'free agent' with respect to basses, although i still mostly switch between my curbow 5 and custom warrior 6 string for my own gigs...
