must have bass books?

What would you considered some must have bass books? There are a lot of them out there, but which ones would you say are must haves?

I have only been playing bass for a week or so now, but I have been playing guitar for 15+ years, so here are some I think would benefit you in some way.

The Bible (Just kidding, as I am Atheist, that why I find that funny!)

Some of the guitar magazines you can get in the supermarket have the bass lines to all the songs as well.

The Beatles: Complete Scores (This book has the music AND tab for guitar AND bass, and music for guitar, bass, and ALL other instruments used in the recordings. Also, this book has every single song the Beatles ever recorded in it.) ... Except the two new songs they did for Anthology.

Any bass scale book with lots of scales, at least the major ones anyway.

Just my total noob opiniation!

What do you mean by "bass books?" Are you talking about theory, construction, history, etc?

There is a sticky in this forum for general instruction 'must haves'.

Here's the link to that thread http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=99676

Check out this book. I think that this is a great book for learning Scales, chords and and modes. Very simple to understand. And of course always check out TB discussions.
