Well I always think, of there's room to get better at what you're doing, do it! If you are enjoying using all these inversions and modes, try getting familiar enough with them that you don't have to study the song intensely and "map it out", to make an interesting line. Make what you have better and more fluid, and "own" the theory and technique.
