Nathan Watts/ Stevie Wonder Bass Transcription Book?

Sign in to disble this ad
Does anyone know of such a book? I would really like to find a book of completely transcribed Nathan Watts lines on Stevie tracks like Do I Do and some other classics as well.

I've imitated Nathan's lines for a long time, but I'm afraid I just don't have the ear to get some of his licks perfect. I'd really like to have them in front of me on paper so I can play, study, and then eventually copy and apply his phenomenal lines.

If anyone is aware of a book that fits that bill, let me know!

Thanks!

There's some Stevie Wonder bass lines by James Jamerson in Standing In The Shadows Of Motown by Dr Licks

Amazon.com: Standing in the Shadows of Motown: The Life and Music of Legendary Bassist James Jamerson (9780881888829): Dr. Licks, James Jamerson, Berry Gordy: Books

If that is a compromise

You have the ear. Just see if you can somehow slow the lick down and listen to it over and over again.
