Merry Christmas and hello. Has anyone really worked with this book?

Although I haven't really worked with it, as you ask. I'm acquainted with it.
Have you seen Scott Devines' tutorial on practicing arpeggios?
How to Practice Arpeggios on Bass - Video Tutorial | ScottsBassLessons.com
It may help make sense out of the book. Different author, same concept.
Much more concise instruction from Scott.
Hope this helps!
