New to six string

G day guys. im about to get my first six string and i was wondering if you have any suggestions for somone new to six? ie pieces to learn that utelises the 6. Also any suggestions of good six string recordings would be great. I know this should go in recordings but i'd rather not make two threads. Thanks alot guys
