noob-ish bass lesson sites?

hey guys. im somewhat of a noob to bass playign. but ive been playing guitar for 4 years or so. because fo my guitar playign ive picked up some bad habits, such as frequesnt hammer-ons and pull-offs, or wantign to use a pick most of the time. anyways. do any of you know of any free bass lesson sites? im especially interested in bass scales, but anything will do. thanks. oh. and does anyone know how to get a... ugh... the name escpaes me at the moment. but like a picture next to your profile name. like an icon.
