I use the "clef reading" page at teoria (
http://www.teoria.com/exercises/read.htm) and generally like it but was wondering if there were any alternatives. That site is good, but I don't like the following:
* Notes are always presented exactly once per "set". That is, no matter how many notes per group you have it show, you'll never get the same one twice per group
* It doesn't have any sort of tracking to "hit" you with your most often missed notes more often than the ones you get right every time.
Was wondering if there were any sites OR SOFTWARE out there that can quiz you on note reading and has:
- configurable clefs (bass, treble, both, etc.) and ledger lines ("no ledger lines", "up to X line above/below/both", etc.)
- keeps track of your progress; dynamically and automatically hammers you with your mistakes more often than what you get right
- allows specification of a key, or "just naturals" or "just flats/sharps", etc.
- allows (computer) keyboard entry or "fret entry"; that is, you can type "a", "b", etc. or click on what fret the note is
Anything like that out there? Need not be free, but free's better. =)
