An odd question

I have a carvin sb5000 and s SR5. I've noticed some things are much easier to play in the ray. The carvins neck isn't as comfortable to me. Should I be able to play equally as well on both basses?

Certainly not. Just as we are all different, different necks work for different hands and preferences.

I would add that I'm not familiar with either bass, so I don't know if the necks should be considered similar or not, but clearly they aren't to you. Play what works for you, not what someone else says is "better."
