odd subdivisions

So I've got a question about odd subdivisions. What would you call a subdivision of a quarter into five? Or seven? I know you can group subdivisions of three into five, but this is something different all together. Which leads to the second set of questions. What symbols would you use to notate that?

Thanks.

You're subdividing a quarter note into 5 (or 7) notes? If so, I would probably use 16'th note "tuplets", with a 5 (or 7) grouping over it.

There's some truly (and legendary) bizarre tuplets in Zappa's "The Black Page". You might get some inspiration from that:

5 in the space of a quarter is a 16th note quintuplet.
7 in the space of a quarter is a 16th note septuplet.

Cool everyone, thanks for the input and finale transcription. I'll check out the Black Page tune. Never heard of it, so this should be interesting.
