Ohms are a unit of electrical resistance.

If you're much into cars, think of it like back-pressure in an exhaust system.

The less resistence, the more freely electricity will be conducted.

Basically.

What he said. Ohms is about impedance. For example, if you take two pairs of speakers which are the exact same model (hypothetically), except one pair is 4 ohms and the other is 8 ohms, the 4 ohms pair will need more watts to cover its whole frequency spectrum, whereas the 8 ohms pair will need less watts to be the same efficiency.
