So, to play the philosopher by death, i dropped the tuning, but guess what, strings are crazily floppy, atleast the E string. The others are fine. (btw, dropped tuning sounds pure kickass!). So is there anyway to fix it so the E stays a bit less floppy?

Oh... I never change my strings. How do you expect me to dial in the right amount of "thud" with zero sustain with new strings?

What gauge would be enough to get some better sustain?
I was thinking D'Addario, anyone recomend a good pack of roundwounds for my fretless (with gauge to sustain lower tuning)

50-105 should be fine, Thats what i use normally. detuned a step the feel like 45-95 at normal tuning. If your looking at D'addario Prosteels are good and bright Nickles and EXP's would be fine also. Half rounds or Chromes would also be a stiffer if the rounds are still too loose for you.
