I'm looking for some basic drum beats to play with that are online, and looping.

i havn't had any luck finding loops online either... all the good loops are in WMP and have a delay when they loop back to the beginning..

a few cheap digitech multi-effect pedals have pretty good drum loops on um though... that or a drum mechine

Here you go, guys. I have a couple (adding to them all the time) at my site, just to use for practise purposes. Nice and simple.

He's starting to sell packs on a subscription basis, too. But a lot of the loops are free and he still does free loops.

I've made an online drum machine for this purpose: http://www.rinki.net/pekka/monkey

The monkey one is probably the best one that's online.

If you don't have a computer near you though it's less useful. My zoom b2 effects pedal has a bunch of simple drum loops that can be pretty fun to mess with. The Tascam GT-R1 is pretty neat too, is a 'jam recording' device that has some built-in rhythm tracks.

Downloadable fully operational freeware. Cool program. Comes with some predesigned loops. Design your own and save. Check Files..Open... for some cool tracks. http://www.threechords.com/hammerhead/
