Hey, I live in a small town and I cant find a music teacher. Does anyone know of some websites that teach bass. I was checking out music dojo and it looks good but I seem some posts saying that its to rushed having an lesson every day.
does anyone one have any suggestions?

I could use the same thing. I don't really want to take lessons in-store...I'd much rather take lessons in somebody's home.

There is a very talented bassist named Oscar Stagnaro who actually will teach lessons online via webcam. I don't know what he charges, but he is the real deal.

Also, I've heard great things about the Ed Freidland Instructional DVDs which might be worth checking out. Otherwise, ActiveBass.com is a nice resource.
