Online schooling.

Forgive me if this has been asked before, I didn't search.

I was wondering what everyone's thoughts on online schooling for music are. Not playing bass, but music classes.

I'm looking at Berklee's online music programs and was curious if people thought they're worth the money. I know it won't compare to an actual classroom experience, but there isn't any good music programs at the colleges around me really.

I'm interested in what people have to say about this as well.

As no one has answered.

Jed on http://www.ibreathemusic.com/forums/ attended Berklee. Ask him that question.

I have taken off Campus classes - before the Internet - not a problem, in fact I liked it as I was able to work as fast or as slow as I needed. In the old days my tests were sent to a community college librarian who proctored the test. Only problem I encountered was I did not build any relationships thus no net working came from it.

If you do not hear from anyone that attended Berklee, try http://www.ibreathemusic.com/forums/ there are several Berklee X's that check in there.

Guys, I've signed up for Berklee On-Line's "Basic Improvisation" course starting April 5th. I'll keep you posted on how the course goes.
