WICKED tough bass line.

The notes themselves are one thing, and then to cop all the nuances and feel on top of that. Hope you've got a comfy woodshed, you'll probably be there awhile on this one!

Thanks. I've been wanting to view a transcription on Peg for quite some time. Sweet... now on to the work!

I've got a bunch of Steely Dan tunes transcribed. Let me know if you want any.
I've got like.. FM, Kid Charlemange (I did a wicked horn arrangement for it too) Reelin in the years, all that juicy stuff.

Rainy's story about turning away from the control booth trying to hide the slapping part from Fagan and Becker is pretty cool.

Many thanks to all, especially guitardefector for on board services.
Now let's see if I can nail it on fretless .
Next week it will be on band rehearsal.

Just mooching around and I found this really nice collection of bass charts, free for personal/educational use. Lots of Steely Dan stuff here. Just an update of the non-working link above, I think.

Ron Mollinga | Bass Transcriptions

Mark, I'd like a look at your chart for FM at some time.

Mr. Mollinga might be the coolest 4th grade teacher in the history of everything.

Thanks for the link
