Playing a piece for my first state exam

Hey, I'm not sure if this is in the right place but ah well..

I have to play around three pieces on bass for my junior cert (I'm not sure of the American version but im 15 taking it).

I've been playing bass for around a year now and would love it if some one could reccomend a melodic song or two for solo bass that arn't to difficult.

I have already decided to do a version of amazing grace and then Run to the Hills- Iron Maiden with a backing track.
