Playing something slower

My guitarist has a song that I am writing over, and I want to write something slow, kinda those songs that you listen to and the bass has that really warm feeling. Almost like a slow dance, or a love song (but a bluesy love song)

But, I have only ever listened to industrial music, as that it what I like. Can anyone please recommend to me some songs I can listen to to get a feel for it?

"Porcelain" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers would be excellent for this. It's somewhere near 47 bpm.
