I taught myself to play bass by ear - while I'm good enough to hit the notes, I have no concept of technique, modes, scales, etc - I'd like to find someone in Portland, OR who can help turn me into a competent musician...
or to put it bluntly, when it comes to the bass, I can fake it, but I'd like to know how to really play this thing.
Who's good in this area?
