Practice Quotation in 'Tamm On Fripp'

I read Eric Tamm's, 'Tamm On Fripp' [here] a while ago and am trying to remember a phrase put forth about practicing, but I can't find it in my searches of the book. It was about practicing when you don't want to practice / are in a slump. I believe he says something like practice more than you usually would. If anyone has read this book and can find me the passage, or even some more clues as to where the passage might be, I would be very grateful.

note: I really had no idea where to put this topic, I figure it mainly concerns practicing so I put it here.
