Practice Routine

Hey guys I was wondering if you guys could give me a good practice routine breakup that I could do for 2 hours a day everyday. What my bass teacher gave me was 1/2 hour- Scales and Arrpegios, Major Harmonic Minor in 2 octaves ,Linerarly then patterns. 1/2- Modern Walking Bass- Mike Richmond, its a book I am learning from where it teaches you complicated walking bass lines. 1/2 hour- Repertoire- So basically anything im working on with my band or need to do for a show or gig or something. 1/2 hour transcriptions. self explanatory.

But I am looking for advice on the current practice routine or even a completely new one any input is greatly appreciated!

It sounds like a pretty balanced practice routine to me. Mind if I ask why you're looking for a change?

That seems pretty balanced. Do you feel like what you are practicing is pushing you beyond your current limitations? If you find that what you are doing isn't challenging you, talk to your teacher about it. What do you feel might be missing?

Looks like a good 2 hour routine to work for awhile.

Can you give me a detailed explanation of what you do in the first half an hour? If you have papers and stuff I would love to get my hands on them!

I wasn't exactly necessarily unhappy with my practice routine that I have set up but I just thought with the opinions of guys from this site I could even improve on it.
