i am an idiot. i spend too much time here trying to look for solutions to my problems. i would probably solve them all if i spent the time practicing instead.

That depends on what you are practicing. If you are using this forum properly you will be trying to find good advice and apply it to what you are practicing. If you are just reading and writing posts to waste time then you probably should go and do something more productive.

As usual I would advise that if you have issues you can't sort out for yourself, maybe it's time to take a few lessons.

yeah, I got to a point where I through out the theory books.

Try not to be too influenced by online forums. They can take the fun out of playing.

I learned almost everything I know from forums like this (never took a lesson for the first 6 years of playing). They're not a bad thing at all.
