This. Me and the 2 guitar players have been in a band before our current project and we had 3 tunings:
- Guitar 1: Drop C
- Guitar 2: Standard
- Me: Standard, but 5 string
That was a bit confusing, but also lead to some interesting arrangements. Nevertheless we wanted to be in the same tuning for our new project, which is now Drop C. I didn't have any problems switching (and now play 4 strings).
