Recommend intro Latin styles book w CD?

Hi

Looking for your recommendations for book and CD on Latin styles that is as effective as Friendland's intro blues book. I really want a Latin styles book that has standards, I hate learning generic stuff. BY the way, I dont expect to need to spend much time with the feel & rhythms; I get them . Just need to know the forms, idioms, walk ups, etc.

By Latin styles I mean salsa, bossa, samba, merengue, son, cha cha, latin jazz etc.

Thank you!

Thank you. I was looking at it online as we speak. Do you know if it has standards?

Go get Oscar Stagnaro's book. It's the Bible for this.
